Senior Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our e-Marker® Services Delivery Department. 


The Role:
This role will support the ongoing development, evolution and performance of projects from initiation through to delivery. As a senior member of the team you will provide support to the Head of e-Marker® Services Delivery, ensuring that business as usual activities are completed on time, to quality and budget. In doing so, you will be required to produce clear reports and documentation and conduct analysis of project metrics and finances. You will also work with the Product Management Team to help develop new initiatives whilst driving the continuous improvement of the product, processes and services provided.


The Person:
The successful candidate will be an extremely well organised, confident and flexible individual with a strong background in project management who is ready to hit the ground running. You would have extensive experience of managing large and complex projects. You will be responsible for coordinating and liaising with various departments to ensure that deadlines are met and not be afraid to challenge the status quo. You will take a key role in shaping our approach to managing clients and have an interest in being creative around how to enhance the customers’ experience. Ideally you will be PRINCE2™ qualified with experience in managing others through excellent coaching skills and the ability to build strong relationships with your team and get the best out of them.




Senior Software Developer 
 

As a technology driven company, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in the .NET stack.


The Role: 
In this role you will be responsible for architecting, developing, building and supporting desktop application solutions for our customers in the educational sector. As an experienced team member, you will be engaging cooperatively with peers and mentor other department members.


The Person:
You will either be a Senior Developer or a Developer, who is ready to move to the next level, with the breadth of experience required to hit the ground running. You will require proven experience of coaching and mentoring Developers in your current or previous role. If you can demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Microsoft's .NET Framework, Visual Studio (C#) and SQL Server, with experience of unit testing with NUnit, we would like to hear from you. Knowledge of SSRS and WCF / WPF and experience of working in an Agile environment would also be desirable. The successful candidate will also be an excellent team player with the flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


Software Developer 
 

We are currently expanding our Software team and we are eager to recruit an experienced Developer.


The Role: 

As a Developer, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, building, and supporting desktop application solutions for our customers in the educational sector. You will be working within a team and engaging cooperatively with peers.


The Person: 
If you can demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Microsoft's .NET Framework, Visual Studio (C#) and SQL Server, with experience of unit testing with NUnit, we would like to hear from you. Systems Engineer

Due to operational demands, we are in search of a Systems Engineer with experience in SQL Database, to provide support to our IT Services team.  


The role:
As Systems Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical support for the implementation and operations of DRS customer facing applications. You will be working closely with other Systems Engineers and the Database Administrator as well as with the Software Development teams.

You would help us develop, produce and deliver training on operating and managing DRS applications to partners and customers. Installation  and configuration of applications to meet defined and agreed customer requirements would be an important element of the role. This role would also allow you to further your SQL knowledge and experience as you would be working with our Database Administrator to identify proactive monitoring and maintenance activities.

The Person:
You would have hands on technical experience in Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and networking with extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 & SSRS. Good knowledge and experience of Azure provisioning and operations SQL server clustered environments would also be one of your key skills.

You will be an excellent team player, well organised and approachable, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
