    Global data capture specialist DRS announces Board level changes

    Global data capture specialist DRS has announced the retirement of its founder and non-executive chairman, Malcolm Brighton, OBE, DL. Mr Brighton stood down from the DRS Board and from its Remuneration and Nominations Committees at the close of the Company’s Annual General Meeting on Monday 11th May. Sir David Brown was appointed as the Company’s new non-executive chairman and will also serve as chairman of the Nominations Committee.

    DRS e-Marker® has been piloted by Polish examination board

    DRS e-Marker® has been successfully piloted by Polish examination board, Centralna Komisja Egzaminacyjna (CKE), marking the start of an international roll out of the education data capture specialist’s electronic examination marking solution. The pilot involved the marking of 6,000 student scripts.

    Polish awarding body delegation visits Milton Keynes based DRS

    A Polish delegation was in Milton Keynes last week to learn how a move towards electronic marking has been instrumental in improved accuracy within the UK examination marking process. The delegation, which consisted of eight regional award body directors from Polish examination board, Centralna Komisja Egzaminacyjna (CKE), as well as the director of CKE himself, visited education data capture specialists, DRS to hear of the company’s extensive experience in the examination field.
