DRS partners with Globarena in India as universities seek end-to-end examination solutions with improved marking standards using e-Marker® technology
DRS Data Services Ltd, a UK-based provider of electronic data capture technology used by many of the world’s leading examination bodies for scanning millions of exam papers every year, has forged a partnership with Globarena in India, following rising demand among universities in India for end-to-end examination solutions with electronic marking.

DRS partners in India to improve examinations and assessment using electronic marking technology
DRS Data & Research Services Plc, a UK-based provider of electronic data capture technology used by many of the world’s leading examination bodies for scanning millions of exam papers every year, has increased its representation in India. The company has entered into a partnership agreement with Edutech, a specialist provider of education solutions and technology to the Indian and Middle Eastern markets. Edutech will sell DRS’ market-leading e-Marker® technology, which is already used by several UK and international universities and examination boards.

WJEC increases use of DRS electronic marking
This summer WJEC, one of the UK's leading examination awarding bodies, anticipates processing 122,000 live examination papers using electronic marking technology supplied by global data capture specialist DRS. This is a 248% increase on the numbers processed last year.

DRS e-Marker® has been successfully piloted by the West African Examination Council (WAEC), in the first use of the education data capture specialist’s electronic examination marking solution across Africa. The pilot involved the marking of 1,300 student scripts over three subjects – Agricultural Science, Biology and Economics.
