Senior Project Manager (EAD)

The Role

The role will support the ongoing development, evolution and performance of projects from initiation through to delivery. As a senior member of the team you will provide support to the Head of EAD, ensuring that business as usual activities are completed on time, to quality and budget. In doing so, you will be required to produce clear reports and documentation and conduct analysis of project metrics and finances. You will also work with the Product Management Team to help develop new initiatives whilst driving the continuous improvement of the product, processes and services provided.

The Person

The successful candidate will be an extremely well organised, confident and flexible individual with a strong background in project management who is ready to hit the ground running. You will have extensive experience of managing large and complex projects. You will be responsible for coordinating and liaising with various departments to ensure that deadlines are met and not be afraid to challenge the status quo. You will take a key role in shaping our approach to managing clients and have an interest in being creative around how to enhance the customers’ experience. Ideally you will be PRINCE2™ qualified with experience in managing others through excellent coaching skills and the ability to build strong relationships with your team and get the best out of them.

Technical Infrastructure Team Leader (ITS)
We are currently looking for a Technical Infrastructure Team Leader to join our busy IT Services department.


The Role:

As a Technical Infrastructure Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the infrastructure team and providing technical support for all infrastructure and middleware, on premise, traditional hosted and Azure IaaS/PaaS, Network and Security.

You would be responsible for identifying customer requirements for Infrastructure architecture and producing proposals that are fit for purpose. Installation and configuration of applications to meet defined and agreed customer requirements with continuous process improvements would also be amongst the various responsibilities of this role.


The person:

With a career path based on a technical discipline, ideally as a Systems Engineer, you would have hands on Technical experience in Cloud Infrastructure (Azure) theories, principles, and practices, Windows Server technologies, MPLS, IPSec VPN, PPTP, and SSLVPN technologies and knowledge of Networking and subnetting IP for a cloud environment coupled with experience of acting as the technical lead on delivering business change projects. You would also have excellent hands on technical experience of Windows 2008, FortiGate, Juniper Firewalls and Checkpoint Firewalls, Cloud Security, Cisco ASA and/or Linux experience.



Infrastructure Engineer (ITS)
We are keen to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer to help us with the development and support of our Azure cloud-based infrastructure.    

The Role:

Working as part of a team, you will be primarily responsible for the deployment and support of Azure applications using DevOps tools and methodologies, for both live production and development environments.  This includes responsibility for ensuring correct security controls are in place on all environments and providing recommendations on additional security improvements.  You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining performance monitoring of all infrastructures, providing recommendations on improvements and control of costs and licencing.  You will also provide technical support for all infrastructure, both on premise (including network switches, firewalls etc.) and Azure IaaS/PaaS.



The Person:
This role would suit an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with several years of experience of Azure DevOps looking to develop their experience and knowledge of Azure in a fast-moving development and time critical production environment.  The ideal candidate would hold Microsoft Azure accreditations and be a proactive team player who can be available for overtime.



Software Developer (SAS Department)
We are looking to recruit a Software Developer who is at the start of their career and we will provide them with inhouse training opportunities for their development.


The Role: 

This role is ideal for a Software Developer who is eager to learn and develop within a team. You will be supporting the team with developing, building, and supporting desktop application solutions for our customers in the educational sector. You will be working within a team and engaging cooperatively with peers. The team also comprises of long serving, experienced Developers, who would be at hand to provide you with training, guidance and support in order to develop your skills even further.


The Person: 
If you can demonstrate experience in Microsoft's .NET Framework, Visual Studio (C#) and SQL Server, with experience of unit testing with NUnit, we would like to hear from you. Knowledge of SSRS and WCF / WPF and experience of working in an Agile environment would also be desirable. As a team player, you will need to be flexible and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
