The majority of our staff work from our Head Office at Linford Wood, Milton Keynes. We also have a Print and Bureau Operations at Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes.
DRS colleagues and staff are regularly updated with what is going on around the business. Meetings are held throughout the year and all staff are encouraged to attend and raise questions and concerns with the CEO and Directors. In addition, senior managers’ meetings, team and individual meetings are held on a regular basis. News items and various information bulletins are published throughout the year on the Group’s intranet site.
Employee engagement continues to be a key priority and a staff forum meets regularly throughout the year to consider issues and ideas, developing and implementing practical solutions that engage with others and to improve things within the work place.
The Board is committed to ensuring that the highest possible health and safety and welfare standards are delivered consistently throughout the business to its employees, its partners and the general public. The Group will take all steps necessary and work within its power to meet this responsibility by regularly reviewing, amending and improving all relevant policies and procedures, meeting its obligations and exceeding best practice standards wherever possible.
Staff are introduced to the Group’s Health and Safety at Work policy when employment commences and undertake refresher training when appropriate, paying particular attention to their individual responsibilities and to following the Company’s safe working policies and procedures in accordance to H&S legislation.
The social committee runs a variety of social and charitable events throughout the year. In addition, employees can participate in the various sports and social clubs including golf and badminton.
